Mary Travers Passes Away

Mary Travers, from Peter, Paul, and Mary fame, passed away. I used to stay up late at night to see them perform on PBS. I had a stuffed animal that I named Puff, and so it was one of my favourite songs. As I got older I went on to build a Puff Rescue Home, where I collected any stray Puff plushies I found at yard sales and whatnot. Obviously when I was a kid the drug references were lost on me. I was really only concerned with it being a nice song and, in my mind, about my best friend a stuffed animal. Beyond that though, I was always in love with their harmonies. She was beautiful, Peter and Paul kinda gangly looking, but together they had such perfect harmonies. Was always a good way to wind down and then head to bed. Was also some of the few nights that me and my parents spent quality time together. If I was lucky they wouldn't perform Puff until the end of the set-allowing me to stay up later.
Mary Travers, 72 years old. Lost her battle to leukemia. RIP :(
