    I read a lot of news sites, so this whole blog will be little things I find interesting and sometimes rants about things I find annoying. Have fun- but don't get too crazy in here. You break it, you buy it.

    Do a Barrel Roll!

    Wednesday, October 28, 2009

    The famous San Fran bridge is closed, because one of the 'band-aids' they put on it fell off to the lower deck and almost killed some people. Oh the minor details... {Yahoo}

    You do not want to know what they found when they did a cavity search. {Yahoo}

    I'm pretty convinced the IT dept for my job is not very bright. They just now told us our remote login service is not compliant with Windows 7. Uh....wouldn't they have known that months ago-when they were first able to use the OS and check it out? Now some people have already upgraded and they won't have a manual work around for a few days and then it'll still probably take over an hour to install and get running. Q1 2010 is when they expect to have this fixed. Good job guys, no wonder I'm running IE6 here as well.

    Stephen Wiltshire is drawing NYC from memory, and you can watch him live. If you don't know about this guy he's an autistic artistic genius that can typically recall detailed cityscapes after only seeing them for a short time. Even if he studied the New York skyline for a week and then sat down to draw it that would still be amazing, I mean, seriously, that's a lot of crap to remember. Anywho-check out his website to see more.

    Don't spend $100 on a high quality chefs knife-spend $27. {Lifehacker}

    NASA just sent a bomb or something into the sky. Nice

    I lov ehow one of my FAs is so insistant on never being outo fthe office,but yet when he comes in half the time he leaves for crap like haircuts, car or boat stuff(buying or selling), property stuff(buying or selling). Dude-just because you are in town doesn't mean you're in the office.

    This is an old article from Jalopnik, but seriously it's hilarious and disturbing. I find it hilarious and disturbing anyway... Also, should you want a fun car project some lazy Sunday this will teach you to make Wanky the Safety Cat. And-should you want Screaming Safety Skulls you can look to this article!

    Miyamoto loves Star Fox, but thinks Japan isn't feeling the <3.>But, as the commentors point out-there really hasn't been a decent Star Fox game since the N64. To solve this problem? Do a barrel roll and make an old school game for the Wii. Please. Because that would sorta be way awesome. Thanks. {Kotaku}
    (side note-can we get 'do a barrel roll' to become the next big meme? I love that line and it seems like it always works no matter the situation. side side note- if you never played Star Fox maybe this isn't as funny to you. Im sorry. Ill let you borrow my N64 and see what you've been missing out on. and besides all that, could I pull off a non-furry/paint make-up only cosplay of Fox? I think I could)

    Clearly it's a slow day on the internet. SORRY!
